To begin Online Banking, you can enroll one of two ways. Either from i3 Bank’s website or through Mobile Banking using the i3 Mobile Banking app. During the enrollment process, you will be asked to agree to the Online Banking Disclosure, Establish credentials (username/password) and Set up challenge questions. i3 Bank uses Multifactor Authentication which is an extra layer of security for Online Banking. After the initial sign up, if your computer is not recognized a challenge question will be asked before asking for your password. Our Online Banking system uses a “3 strikes and you’re out” lock out mechanism. After three unsuccessful login attempts, the system locks the user out, requiring a call to the bank to be reset. If you forget your password, you can select the Forgot Password? link on the website and the mobile banking app or call the Bank to reset. If you select the Forgot Password? link, you must know your username, last 4 digits of your SSN and email address on file. A temporary password will be emailed to the email address on file. You have 30 minutes to use the temporary password, After logging in with the temporary password, you will be required to change the password. Another email will be sent to confirm that the password was changed.
Your transactions are protected by individual passwords. I3 Bank does NOT know your password and i3 Bank will not send any account information to your computer unless your Username and Password are correct. Be sure to keep this password private. Do not share it with anyone. Memorize it and do not store the Password on or near your computer. Change your password frequently. Passwords must be between 9 and 17 characters and include at least one number, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter and one special character. Remember to exit the Internet browser when leaving the computer or when finished with your banking transactions. For security purposes, i3 Bank Online Banking sessions will automatically sign you off after 20 minutes of inactivity and i3 Mobile Banking sessions will automatically sign you off after 5 minutes of inactivity.
